Green Chutney

Green chutney is extensively used along with chaat items and samosas.


Coriander leaves -1 cup
Mint leaves         – 1/2 cup
Green chilli         – 2-3 nos.
Ginger(grated)   – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds      – 1 tsp
Chutney dhal     – 1 tbsp.
Lemon juice       – 1 tbsp
Sugar                 – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Preparation time:10 min
Making time       :05 min.




Step 1

Add the following ingredients in a mixie jar – Cumin seeds 1 tsp,Chutney dhal 2 tsp,Green chilli 2-3 nos.,

Shredded ginger 1 tsp,Garlic 3-4 cloves. Dry grind to powder.

Step 2

Add to Coriander leaves 1 cup,Mint leaves 1/2 cup,Lemon Juice 1 tbsp,Sugar 1 tsp and salt to taste to the powder mixture. Add 1/4 cup water and grind to a smooth paste.

Green chutney is ready
