Aadi Pal (ஆடி பால்)

Aadi pal (ஆடி பால்/ ஆடி தேங்காய் பால்) is a sweet drink made using coconut milk extract. It is prepared generally on the first of Aadi (ஆடி) month of tamil calendar and also Aadi month fridays.


Fresh grated coconut  – 1 cup

Raw rice                        – 3 tbsp

Jaggery                          – 1/2 – 3/4  cup

Cardamom                     – 6 nos.

Preparation time            :15 min

Cooking time                  : 15 min

Makes                             : 2 1/2 cups
