How to make street style onion pakoda(pakora) recipe- You can easily make a popular street style snack at home quickly with this recipe-Onion pakoda, a crispy snack recipe that goes well as tea time snacks/evening snacks. Ingredients

Onion 4 nos. sliced

Besan flour 2 cups

Ghee 3 tsp

Green chili 3 to 4 nos.

Salt  1 1/4 tsp

Hing 1/2 tsp

Ginger 1 piece

Coriander & Cumin seeds 3 tsp

Curry leaves

Coriander leaves

Cashew nuts 2 tbsp

Oil for deep fry

Cooking time 25 min

Step 1

Add salt to sliced onions and knead well. Water will ooze out of from onions. Set aside for few minutes.

Step 2

Take Besan flour (Bengal gram flour). Add crushed onions and crushed coriander and cumin seeds. To this add coarsely ground green chili,ginger and curry leaves paste. Also add coriander leaves and hing powder. Mix well. Do not add water.Knead to hard dough.

Step 3

Heat oil in medium flame for few minutes. Take dough in small quantities. Press and gently drop in oil. Stir occasionally. Take it from oil when it turns to golden brown. Now crispy and onion flavored crispy pakoda is ready
