
Rice Vegetable Khichdi
Rice Vegetable Khichdi is a wholesome meal made out of rice, dhal, sprouted moong , spinach and host of other vegetables . It is very nutritious and filling and as a single item can serve as a complete meal. It is also tasty and suitable for all ages.
Ingredients
Raw Rice — 1 cup
Moong dhal — 1/4 cup
Sprouted Moong — 1/2 cup
Chopped beans — 50 g
Chopped carrots — 50 g
Chopped potato — 50 g
Green Peas — 50 g
Palak(Spinach) — 50 g
Tomato — 1 no.
Ghee — 1-2 tbsp
Cumin seeds — 1 tsp
Shredded ginger – 1 tsp
Salt — to taste
Hing — 1/2 tsp
Green chilli — 2-3 nos.
Turmeric powder —1/2 tsp
Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp or}
Sambar Powder — 2 tsp }
Garam masala — 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves — 1 tbsp
