It is easy to prepare and the ribbon pakoda ( also known as ola pakoda / Nada ). There are many variations of ribbon pakoda by altering the proportion of besan flour (Bengal gram flour) ,rice flour, fried gram. In my recipe i have not used fried gram. I generally use butter for all murukku preparations but i have used coconut oil in place of butter for ribbon pakoda preparation. Coconut oil gives nice flavor.
