It can be taken for breakfast or in lunch box as mini lunch. Some people take it as Upavas prasad with Hing and without tempering.Poha curd rice can be part of any daily food course. Adding fruits and fresh vegetables make it elderly people friendly. You can also add dry fruits and nuts

Ingredients

Thick flattened rice ½ cup
(Poha/அவல்/Avalakki)
Curd ¾ to 1 cup

Grated carrot ¼ cup
Grated cucumber ¼ cup
Pomegranate ¼ cup

Hing ¼ tsp
Mustard ½ tsp
Green chili 1 no. split
Shredded ginger ½ tsp
Curry leaves
Oil 1 tsp
Salt

Preparation time = 05 min

Cooking time = 03 min

Makes 2 cups
