PAL PAYASAM (பால் பாயசம்) is a milk based sweet dish (kheer variety) which is very delicious and creamy. It is prepared during festivals especially “Tamil New Year”.
INGREDIENTS
Raw rice — 2 to 3 tbsp
Ghee — 1 tbsp
Milk — 4 cups
Water — 1/2 cup
Sugar — 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder — 1/2 tsp
Cooking time : 30 minutes
Makes : around 2 ½ cups
