How to make healthy bread toast in 15 min?

Healthy bread toast/ Green gram bread toast / Moong bread toast- In this post I am going to give you how to make a healthy breakfast in 15 minutes making a toast using bread slices, green gram paste and host of fresh vegetable toppings. Green gram is one of the favourite snacks in my house for the past 15 years. Green gram is packed with healthy nutrients and rich in fibre. Usually green gram is soaked for 4 to 6 hours and then ground to paste with onions and spices added. Nowadays people do not have much time to go through this lengthy process especially in the mornings. So I simplified by using roasted green gram powder which can be prepared and stored. You can make green gram paste from the green gram powder and rest of the process is very simple. It came out very tasty and the preparation time also reduced to a great extent So I like to share this tip to everyone. Apart from green gr11am there is lot of vegetables used as topping. You can add carrot, cabbage, beet root, spinach etc as per your choice for the topping. This toast is very healthy and suitable for all ages.

Brown bread 8 slices

Green gram flour 1/2 cup

(Moong flour)

Onion 1 no. shredded

Grated coconut 1/2 cup

Shredded capsicum 1/2 cup

Grated paneer 1/2 cup

Green chili 2 nos.

Ginger 1 inch piece

Coriander leaf 1/2 cup

Salt

Oil

Preparation time 5 minutes

Cooking time 10 minutes

Makes 8 bread slice toasts

Step 1

Wipe green gram by wet cloth

Step 2

Heat pan and dry roast green gram in medium flame.

Step 3

Transfer to mixie jar at room temperature. Dry grind to smooth powder there is no need to sieve.

Step 4

You can store this flour for a longer period.

Step 5

Take green gram flour in a mixer jar. Add shredded onions green chilli Ginger coriander leaves and salt add little water and grind to paste. The batter should be in semi thickness form like idli batter. Add grated carrot capsicum, paneer and little salt & mix well.

Step 6

Heat pan. Grease it. Dip bread slices in the batter and place it on pan. Apply batter on top of the bread slice.around 2 to 3 spoons of batter is required for each side of the bread slice.

Step 7

Spread carrot capsicum paneer mixture on top of the bread drizzle some oil and roast with medium flame for 2 minutes flip over and Rose the other side now healthy and tasty toast is ready to serve. serve it with tomato ketchup
