DAL MAKHANI is a healthy and tasty punjabi style side dish that goes well for Chappati,roti ,paratha etc. It is rich in protein. It is easy to make this item at home.

INGREDIENTS

Black gram 3 tbsp
Kidney beans ( Rajma) 3 tbsp
Onion ( finely chopped) 1/2 cup
Tomato(finely chopped) 1/2 cup
Ginger(coarsely ground) 1 tbsp
Garlic (coarsely ground) 1 tbsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Chili powder 1/2 tsp
Hing 1/2 tsp
Milk 1/4 cup
Fresh cream 1/4 cup
Green chili 2 nos
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Sugar 1/4 tsp
Salt
Oil 1 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
