Bhindi ( Okra/ Ladies finger/ Vendaikai) masala is a favourite curry item for all ages across India. This semi dry curry goes well with both roti and rice. It is stir fried and is mild spicy. It is a healthy side dish for both roti and rice. There are many variations with bhindi like dahi(curd) bhindi, bhindi masala with gravy and without gravy. I usually prefer dry or semi dry version which is quite simple to make. I use bengal gram in my recipe to minimize the stickiness in the bhindi while it gets cooked.
